Provision

Inclusive Provision Planning

In most cases the needs of our children can be met across the curriculum by carefully planned adaptations by the class teacher. This is called quality first teaching.

However for some children the difficulties they have in school may require specific interventions. These will be built into the class provision planning. The effectiveness of interventions is looked at in a cycle of assess-plan-do-review.

Where interventions are not having the desired impact the school will seek advice from the Community of Schools and the Link Professionals in the Professional Resource Group.

Where difficulties persist or require provision that is signficantly differenet from our universal offer an individualised personal plan will be put in place and your child is likely to be included on the Special Educational Need and Disability (SEND) register. If your child has a plan their teacher will discuss this with you and monitor their progress closely with the SENCO, Mrs. Caroline Lampard.
