Lesson: Design and technology

Class: Sycamore Class (Year 1) Year: 2021 - 2022

Our D&T topic this term is weaving. In the first lesson we demonstrated how to weave on a large paper loom. The children then had a go at weaving using the table legs as a loom!

In the second lesson the children collected natural resources from the forest and used a Y shaped twig to make a loom. They enjoyed weaving leaves, twigs and flowers.
