Local Explorers

Lesson: Geography

Class: Sycamore Class (Year 1) Year: 2021 - 2022

Our topic in Geography this term is 'Local Explorers.' Before the children explore their local area we started off exploring the classroom. The children made a 'messy map' of the classroom from aerial view. 

In the next lesson the children went on a fieldwork walk of the school. 

The children explored our local area on Google Maps. They enjoyed making maps of the local area with key features on.
